Garage Sale find

I have been looking for an small ottoman for my living room for awhile now and about the last garage sale we went to that day, I ran across one and I had to get it. I felt kinda bad because someone else was looking at it too and wasn't saying anything about it, so I jumped in and got it. I paid for it and put it in the van and was excited about recovering it now. I finally finished it a couple of night ago.

I was so excited about how it looked I wanted to recover my couch in white too, so I did. I love how they both turned out. I will post pics tommorrow of the couch and I also have been doing some remodeling thoughout the house mainly hallway, kitchen and living/dining room, so I will also put them pics up as I get to take them.

Long Break.......see what I've been doing........

Oh man I needed a break to get caught up on things, we have been so busy....

I finally found some curtains and blinds for my bedroom window:

New Plates Transformed

I got my new plates that I bought here at the goodwill the other day. My daughter Kaylah had broke one of my plates that I already had up there. Poor girl! It turned out really good and I like the detail around the plates better than the other ones I had up there before. I finally got my plates back on the wall after a few days.

I haven't been to the goodwill lately so my daughter and I ran down the street to the goodwill store. We found these goodies for our night and paid only $7.xx dollars for all them. The plates are going to be painted white and hung in my bedroom because someone decided they were going to take a plate off the wall and it fell and broke. Oh who could have that been, "MISS KAYLAH". Oh well at least I didn't pay a whole lot for the plate to begin with. Of course I will update pics when they are done and hung. The blue container I'm going to use for the kids art supplies and the pink basket to put all of the videos in for the girls room.

I found these cute wings for my girls in the bins at the very bottom. It was funny because I just had looked it that bin and never saw nothing that I wanted and then we just happen to go back and I discovered them at the very bottom of the bin, and I grabbed them up for only.... here we go .50 cents. They are like brand new. WooHoo!





This was just too cute! My sweet baby girl! I found this lamp out garage saling about 2 weeks ago, and only for $2.00 couldn't pass this deal by. I painted satin nickel and now in search for a cute lamp shade for it.

Garage Sale Finds

My mom, me and my girls went out to find some goods deals this past weekend, and we found a neighborhood garage sales going on which we love cause its all in one area. We found a few things while out. But about half way through our garage saling it started raining off and on, but we decided to stay and find more good buys. Here's what I found all of this was for only $5.00. WOOHOO!

I got busy when I got home and painting this lamp I still need a shade for it but I couldn't pass up this buy for only $2.00.

Trash to Treasures

All this week we have had spring clean up where everyone gets their trash and puts out to the curb. My mom and I went out tonight, we didn't find much but got a few things. Here's what I got. We also planning on going next friday again for the last day.

Goodwill Finds

I went to Goodwill and found a couple of good finds today! First here's the story on the tree, it had no price on it so I asked someone and the guy said $10 and I said no I don't think I want it, then he said well how about $5 and I said SOLD! Second, I picked up this cute tin for only .50. I'm planning on painting and finding some cute flowers and hang it on my front door. I didn't have long too look today but will be going back next week.

I started sanded the white paint off the hearts and realized I needed to take a before picture.
