crockpot chicken n dumplings

I have always made chicken n dumplings on the stove in a pot and never in a crockpot. This has become one of my favorite comfort foods since I found this recipe over @ Cooking on Clover Lane.  This recipe I can throw together before I go to work and a hot and comfort dinner is ready when we all get home. Here is what you need:

4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves ( i use about 6 pieces of frozen tenderloin chicken)
2 TBS butter
2 cans of cream of chicken soup
1 onion finely chopped
2 packages of refrigerated biscuit dough, torn into pieces

Place the chicken, butter, soup and onion in a slow cooker, and fill with just enough water to cover.
Cover and cook for 5-6 hours on High. About 30 minutes before serving, place the torn biscuit dough in the slow cooker. Cook until the dough is no longer raw in the center.

Enjoy!

Thanks for leaving a comment on my latest post. I'm glad you liked the French Beret too I'm so happy to have a second opinion. I'm a little nervous about going so dark, but I think it's going to look great!
