Cheap and Easy Organized Vanity

This week I want to share some of our bathroom progress and what we are going to do with the bathroom, as well of some of the ideas that we have came up with.
My husband has been working on our kids bathroom for sometime now and we are almost to the end of being done.  Anyways I found this awesome way of organizing my vanity when its ready.  Christin @ Pregnant...with power tools  showed me how to do this quick and easy project for my bathroom vanity. Thanks Christin.

Here's her before:

....and the after:

She built the shelves herself out of scrap wood she already had. She did an awesome job. I can't wait to build mine when its time.

Oh here are some pics I took of my husband's work from the kids bathroom of what
he got done and still in progress.

Our before when he had started putting up the dry wall around the tub:

The After:

We are finally going to get it finished this month.
Here's the list of what he has done:

ripped everything old out (check)
got all of the dry wall up (check)
got the tile on the floor (check)
got the bathtub in (check)
got the tile on the wall around the tub (check)

What we need to finish:

-shower fauets
-install toliet (which we have in the garage)
-vanity cabinet with sink (also in the garage)
-mirror and light fixture
-cabinet over the toliet
-accessorize the bathroom (which will be the fun part)

and that's all we like to finish and our kids can have their bathroom back. We are both excited to share it with you all when we are done.

Have a great day!

  1. Hi Jamie! That organized vanity looks amazing! You know, everyone always thinks I have a clean house, but they haven't seen what's behind closed vanity and closet doors! Scary!!
The kids bathroom is looking good. Can't wait to see it all finished. Hang in there, you will get to the fun stuff before you know it. :)

Thank you for all your wonderful Comments!
